With attention to detail in every moment during its production, the RESOLUTION is lively and vibrant long distance riding machine. This bike will bring you rapidly to the top of the mountain, and with safety when you ll quickly have to go down.
The objective of the RESOLUTION? To be the bike you can go out throughout the year, a four seasons cycling machine. The wheelbase is large enough to mount tires up to 700x32 or 700x28 with mud guards that cover the entire wheel, we have rather the habit to met those so long on a city bike, anyway it is welcome when the weather is capricious. The frame is only dedicated to the braking disc that provides a real plus when the weather is ugly !
The frame is a mix of Columbus Life and Spirit. The top tube is in Columbus Spirit, quite wide and oval for good lateral rigidity. The diagonal tube is also in Columbus Spirit, the contact area with the bottom bracket is done with a high weld to ensure proper power transfer.
The tapered head-tube, which hosts the MASON carbon fork "Aperture" 365 grams, provides bright direction. The fork is large enough to allows 700x32 or 700x28 tires with mud guards. The rear triangle is conceived in Columbus LIFE and is working to ensure an efficient transfer of power.
