ALL CITY CYCLES SPACE HORSE, do you prefer it as a stunt-man commuter or an off-pavement touring bike ?

Even if you see cantilever brakes on the SPACE HORSE, this bike is not designed for a cyclo-cross use or any racing use...but mainly as a road tourer off pavement machine or a fun commuter....and well with a rear dérailleur or as a Singlespeed ! ! Made of 612 Select ChroMoly (a cromo 4130 design at the taste of the brand), down, top, and seat tubes are double butted. It received an internal and external ED BLack Coasted to protect the precious metal from rust...it is made to last through time.
Wishing to go for a weekly ride with bags ? no problem, the ALL CITY CYCLES SPACE HORSE frame and fork are designed with rack mount (rear up to 30lbs-14kg / front up to 20lbs-10kgs) ), fenders (full cover) mount and even a pump peg. ALL-CITY CYCLES specially choose tubes stiff enough to handle a multi-week excursion but staying comfortable for unloaded road and light gravel adventures. At the front, the fork is made of Cromo 4130 with tapered retro style blades and a straight steerer.

The frame feature very nice semi-horizontal dropouts designed by Anna SCHWINN (SCHWINN BIKE). Those semi-horizontal dropouts features adjustment screws allowing to easily plug the wheel in. It fits perfectly with the versatility of the SPACE HORSE : ride it with 10 speeds or only one ! and they are very functional as you can easily get your wheel out without taking off full coverage fenders.
Another small detail it that all the cable routing is internal with full length cable routing. The rear cable brake goes internal on the top tube featuring a stylish cable stop fixed on the integrated seat-clamp.

The SPACE HORSE has long chain-stay (435 - 445 depending the frame size), that make it quite a comfortable bike to ride, but globally the wheelbase is short giving a position like an MTB or a Cyclocross that would give you the temptation to take a shortcut by the stairs if you ride it as a commuter...or to ride on dusty path generally "reserved" to MTB. Tires clearance is up to 700x42 without fender and 700x38 with fender.
Outside of the chain (KMC), the groupset is from Shimano TIAGRA 10 Speed. Transmission is 50/34T and 12/30T very welcome when you have to climb with a loaded SPACE HORSE.

The ALL CITY CYCLES SPACE HORSE is sold as a complete bike (Grey or Green) or as a frameset (Frame + fork only in Green) and available in 6 sizes : 46 - 49 - 52 - 55 - 58 - 61.
