SingleBE E.TYPE - is a pretty stylish E-BIKE commuter made of Cromo SAE4130 Double Butted. This bike, Handmade in CZECH Republic, is only equipped with one front brake Shimano SLX in 160mm because the hub cannot accept disc mount and customer probably did not wanted cantilever for the look of the bike. It features an integrated carbon cockpit (120mm stem, 720mm handlebar), an Aluminium-carbon fork inserted in the 44mm headtube. The saddle is the C15 produced by Brooks.
The E-TYPE is a singlespeed and as now many of the commuter bikes produced by SingleBE, it is using a "Carbon GATE" Belt transmission system. But this time it is not coupled to a internal gear hub system. For the first time, this commuter is electric and the belt is linked to a 250w electric engine with specific features.
What is so specific to the ZEHUS engine made in Italy ? It is what we call an "All in One". The rear hub which is 180mm diameter and 120mm wide for 3kgs, contains all the system. Yes, the engine (250w) and the battery (160w) fits in it. No cable ! And the little extra...it can regenerate while you ride and do not use the engine ! Infinite power ???
There is no display, but if you really wish to manage your speed, your battery, the status of your engine (diagnosis), lock the bike so no one can ride it, mobility stats and other social functions....ZEHUS has developed a phone apps to manage all this thanks to Bluetooth technology (iOS and android supported).
