CAMINADE SIMPLETRACK ESPRESSO – COMPLETE BIKES AND FRAMES ARE AVAILABLE

CAMINADE SIMPLETRACK ESPRESSO, the new MTB from the french handcrafter, is now available as a complete bike and on direct order.
Based in the South West of France (close to Perpignan), CAMINADE designed and produced all its frames in France with steel tubes from Columbus, Reynolds and their own Caminade Osborn Aerospace grade set of tubes. The range cover road with the ROUTE66,  gravel with the GRAVEL, GRAVEL ESPRESSO, mountain bikes with the SIMPLETRACK, the ONE4ALL and this brand new SIMPLETRACK ESPRESSO !

The ESPRESSO bike range from CAMINADE, that also include the well-known GRAVEL ESPRESSO, features an inhouse designed and handmade productions. The visual signature of an ESPRESSO bike is defined by a top tube welded  “in line” with seatstays. To realize this visual signature on the SIMPLETRACK ESPRESSO, Caminade has bended the seastays to make it arrived tangential compared to the bended top tube.

SIMPLETRACK ESPRESSO is available in 29″ but also 27,5″+. Even if they both share the same geometry than the “SIMPLETRACK First of his name”, they differ from the rear triangle. The 27,5+ version (featuring a Boost 148x12mm rear axle)  is also compatible for a 29″ set up, while the 29″ SIMPLETRACK ESPRESSO is not 27,5+ ready. This is due to the fact that the rear tire space allowed on the 27,5+ is wider (up to 27,5×3.00 – 90mm).

In both wheel sizes, consider the bike for Trail or CrossCountry/Marathon use with a 120mm front suspension fork and as an all-mountain/Enduro Hardtail with a front suspension up to 150mm. This versatile side is quite interesting if you plan to ride both way depending on the event you are participating to or the season of the year. It is only 1x drive train ready for simplified shifting and improved mountain biking experience while handling the new Caminade MTB.

The frame is TIG welded and is built from the following set of tubes : Top Tube, Seat Tube and Seat-stays are made of Caminade Osborn Aerospace grade, Down tube from Columbus 29er bended, chainstays from Columbus. Headtube is 44mm for tapered or non tapered front suspension fork. Compared to the original SIMPLETRACK, the bended top-tube is welded on a slightly higher point on the seat-tube, it allow to braze on a second set of bottle mount. Also, but is is a very small details, the integrated seatclamp is reversed.

The paint finish is up to your taste within 10 singles colours and 9 “sand texture colour” (with fine grain decorative texture) in option (+50 euros) . There is no lettering, but i guess that the shape of the frame is saying by itself that you are riding a CAMINADE bike !

Caminade propose the Simpletrack ESPRESSO as a frame-kit or as a complete bike with various set-up depending how are gonna ride but also your budget. You can even order it with the brand new Sram Eagle goupset with its wellknow 10-50T 11speed cassette.
