SVO BIKES - BANCO 2016 - SEMI RIGIDE ACIER COURROIE ROHLOFF

The company SVO BIKES (link to SOS VELO) was founded in 2013. The creator of the company wanted to find a real solution to a friend of him (with a quite strong body) that always broke down his bike frames and wheels. This is why SVO BIKES is born with a first range of strong bikes. The philosophy of the brand is to sell a completeproduct to provide strong bikes made to last. This is why, apart of the frame made for SVO BIKES regarding specific technical request, the wheels are also made and build by the company (the hub is SVO branded), the forks are also specifically prepared with a long time lubrication.

SVO BIKES BANCO is the 29" hardtail made of steel on the 2016 range. To design the bike, SVO BIKES requested the knowledge of ANTIDODE SOLUTION, welknown for its expertise, in order to test and approve all the technical points of the BANCO before its final launch on the market. It was quite a long and tuff work to approve all the technical choices. Things has not been mid-done, SVO has even requested the development of its own steel tube to answer its specifications. The brand manage to work in an optimal environement as all the manufacturers requested for this project have dedicated one contact to work with SVO....luxe !
The set up of a belt transmission request a real attention to details. It is really a question of milimeters as the belt really need to stay in line for not twisting. The frame is designed to be pretty stiff near the bottom bracket, SVO played on the material, shape, reinforcement. And to prevent from the impossible, they even had a small wheel keeping the belt on the sprocket to prevent it from moving.

Head-Tube is tapered, you can adjust the tension of the belt thanks to the sliding rear hanger. You can buy the SVO BIKES BANCO as a frameset or a complete bike.
